In honor of Election season, we are having an election of our own. Now's your chance to "make a noise and make it clear."
We're renaming Shiloh. The new name is up to YOU!
You have now until Friday, October 17 at midnight to submit your idea for a new name for Shiloh. At the close of this process, the RHA council will select the nominations which will move on to the next round. (Before you start touting that this is not fair, it is just like the Republican or Democratic Parties selecting their candidates.)
A poll will be posted on Saturday, October 18. The polls will close on Saturday, October 25 at 10pm.
Party with us on Saturday, October 25 from 9pm until midnight. Paper ballots will be passed out as well. The new name will be announced at midnight.
Get your vote on. Submit your nominations by commenting on this post. Again nominations will be accepted now until Friday, October 17 at midnight.

This is kinda off the subject but it is the most relevant place I have found to say it.
I would like to comment about the parking situation in the lot just south of Shiloh Hall. I have noticed that it is increasingly difficult to find a practical spot to park during mid-day and evening. I notice everyday that people that live off-campus park in the lot and leave their car there all day. This forces residents of Shiloh Hall to park in other lots, making things very inconvenient. I also feel that if I am paying $1000 per semester ($250 per month) for a 500 square foot room, I feel should be guaranteed a close parking space.
I would like to suggest that the parking lot just south of Shiloh Hall be restricted to only faculty/staff and residents of Shiloh Hall.
