Internet Access

You've found one place to access the internet, but you have other options as well.
RESIDENT LIFE: There are a few computers in the Resident Life Building that are all connected to the internet. These computers are available 24 hours a day. These computers are to aid students in completing their assignments. Those residents needing the computer for school work will be given precedence over residents using the computer for recreational purposes.
LIBRARY: Don't despair. There are more computers in the Val A. Browning Library. Hours for the library can be found in this post. This computer lab will be open Monday-Thursday 8am-11pm. Friday hours are 8am-6pm. The lab is closed on Saturday. Sunday hours for the lab are 3pm-9pm.
SMITH COMPUTER CENTER: There are even more computers in the Smith Computer Center just north of the stadium. The SCC is open Monday-Thursday 7am-11pm. Friday hours are 7am-6pm. The lab is open 9am-5pm on Saturday. The SCC is closed on Sunday.
There are computers available in the Udvaar Hazy Building as well. These labs are sometimes used as classrooms, so access is occasionally limited.
PRINTING: Students are given 50 pages free to print each semester. These prints can be used on any computer that requires a sign-in (Smith Computer Center, Business and Library Labs). More prints can be purchased at the Cashier's Office and during limited hours at the Smith Computer Center. A printer is also available in the Resident Life building.
For the fortunate few who came to school with a laptop, there are wireless internet services on campus. Access to wireless services requires setup. Easy to follow instructions are available by clicking this link. You can set up your connection while using wired access in your room. The first time you are within range of the wireless signal, a box will pop up requesting your username and password. Once it has been entered, it will be saved and you will be automatically connected in the future.
